207 Frank Hawkins was telling me (the writer) about his experiences as a young man. As a boy he used to work in a small shop. There he used to repair bicycles. He bought his own shop in 1938 and during the war he made spare parts of aeroplanes. By the end of the war he employed a lot of people. After a while his wife came into the room. She wanted him to repair their son's bicycle !
