412.1 - A busmen's strike, which begins next Tuesday, may last a week. Because of this car owners are offering free rides to people going to work. University students have volunteered too, but they will have to pass a special test. Though it will still be difficult to get to work, the public are grateful. Only one or two have objected that the students might drive too fast.

412.2 - Because a busmen's strike, which begins Tuesday, may last a week, car owners are offering free rides to people going to work. University students, who have also volunteered, will have to pass a special test. Despite the fact that it will still be difficult to get to work, the public are grateful, except for one or two that have objected that the students might drive too fast.
